Dr. Taslima Chowdhury is a renowned Psychiatrist of Bangladesh. She completed her MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College and obtained MD degree in Psychiatry from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). She is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head of the department of Psychiatry in Ashiyan Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She provides a variety of psychiatric services including psychotherapy .Her area of expertise is sexual dysfunction, drug abuse, unexplained physical symptoms, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD etc. Her keen interest is in brain stimulation therapies and psychotherapies ( which include Couple therapy, CBT, anger management training etc). Furthermore, she also received training on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy (TMS), which is used to treat many refractory conditions in psychiatry like refractory depression, from Maastricht University, Netherlands.
